New EVO GM 3.5" MAF support

Postby tlcoll1 » Wed Dec 20, 2006 8:42 pm

As part of my big post-P0300 fix feature-a-thon, this evening I finished up implementing ECU+ support for EVO MAS translation with the big GM 3.5" MAF unit. Yet another hurdle down for making lotsa HP with the EVO.

Thanks to Ivan C for testing this. It'll be in the next ECU+ software/firmware release. Free of course.

I would want to try out the 3.5" GM MAF in a blowthrough configuration soon...is the software/firmware ready to be used yet?

It's not done, but I can make available a minor change that'll let you use the GM 3.5" MAF with the current software. Send me an e-mail when you start getting close to installing it.

Is it a calibration difference between the 3" and 3.5" for the most part?

I have a 3" sensor retrofitted into a 3.5" granatelli housing so I'm wondering which of the two settings to use when I finally switch over.

Yea, it's just a calibration difference. Sounds like you would use the 3" setting.
