Go-to-next-WOT feature

Postby tlcoll1 » Wed Jul 19, 2006 10:07 pm

See the screenshot for a new ECU+ Win feature I coded up this evening. I realized that I do this *all of the time*, so why not make it an easy function?

Nice shortcut Tom. What about assigning it to a key?

Another thought to expand on this, what about a key combo to select the begining and end of a WOT section? This would be mainly useful for the dyno feature. Or even better a key to jump to the WOT then one more to auto-select the WOT section and jump to the dyno feature.

Awesome, that will be much quicker than scrolling! I agree with the idea of zooming to the begining and end of wot section.

Ivan - I'll add a shortcut key for it. How about Ctrl+T (T for woT; Ctrl+W is "close this file")? mad_viii - the zoom does bracket the WOT region - it doesn't just scroll to the beginning, it makes the WOT region fill out the visible graph. So from there, you just pop up the dyno analysis (it's on the menu bar, and thus just a click away), and the dyno analysis pre-fills in the visible X coordinates, which are now the WOT region. Hit Calculate and you're set.

That sounds very good Tom, Ctrl-T works for me.
